MudMap Studio is working together with UDLA to provide a ‘local’ Broome presence for the community engagement and design process for the Cable Beach Master Plan. Following the recommendations of the Cable Beach Development Strategy, the Master Plan provides a coherent vision to transform the public realm at Cable Beach into a precinct that reinforces Broome's iconic beach as one of the world’s best.
MudMap Studio’s role was to facilitate community input into this project, as well as contribute to the design and master planning development for the site.
This project was awarded a commendation in the 2017 Planning Institute Australia Awards for the Best Planning Ideas – Small Projects category.
